When cats think of Smallpaw, they most often think of the chaos she causes in the Clan. The ridiculous prankster, the over-energetic ‘paw, the mouse lover. They think of all these things and, surprisingly, they smile. Good ol Smallpaw. Still being herself.
. Small feels lucky that this is what people think of her now - a reality so very different from the one she used to live in. So she’s made the most of it. She brings the mouse all around camp with her, talks to him - and when she’s out and about in the territory, she can usually find someone else to keep an eye on her dear Speckle. Because of this, Wildstar has introduced a no killing mice rule. Such a kind thought still warms Small’s heart.
. And she’s not afraid to show her excitement for the most mundane things, either! When the full moon comes and it’s time for the gathering, she’s bouncing up and down all night. When Wildstar or Flameflicker find a new kind of flower to plant in the camp, she cheers them on, willing to stare at the new colors for hours and tell her mouse friend all about how cool it is. When the sun rises, she’s the first one up, the first one running around camp, ready to face the new day.

. Flicker still wishes she’d stop running. Yes, he can appreciate the joy of a young soul, but as the medicine cat he’s the one who has to patch her up when she falls down. And fall she does - quite often. Smallpaw’s quite the clumsy kitten, always tripping over her own paws or running into trees or wandering a bit too close to the void. She just doesn’t care about the danger... she’s in it for the adventure.
. Her pranks are the one thing the rest of the Clan probably doesn’t enjoy. She’s well known for slipping a paw under the den to try and grab tails, or for pretending to be dead in increasingly ridiculous positions. But Wildstar knows how much Small loves her new home, so she’s easy on her.
. Let the paw have her fun. Prudence will come in time.
