Hwisun is the leader and main vocal of boy group Fracture, currently contracted under Wonder Entertainment. His history in the industry is a bit soiled, though he has since grown and done his best to become a better person thanks to his current group members.
He's known to be a bit vain and self centered, coming from a rich family. Hwisun is famously hard to get along with, so becoming friends with him is a task in itself. Confront him at your own risk and be ready for sharp words and a icy demeanor.

Hwisun was raised in an enviornment where money and status were everything, so his personality very much reflects his upbringing. He never grew up with many real 'friends', just other kids his age he was only aquainted with because of who his parents knew. Due to this, while in school they tended to be known as the bullies as they tend to have it out for the kids with what they viewed as 'lesser' backgrounds. Hwisun was never too deeply involved in anything my physical - though he did have a few instances of it - but never did anything to stop it. His form of bullying always tended to be more in the words he said, watching for insecurities and targeting those.
Many of Hwisun's actions are spurred on from his own insecurities. He isn't aware of it until much later, but due to his home life, he had developed a control complex; where if he doesn't feel like he's in control of something, he can get even meaner and more unpleasant. It usually takes an outside force of some kind to break him out of his spirals.
Once again, due his upbringing with his parents and starting his training as an idol at a young age, it took him years to come to an understanding of himself and become a better and more relaxed person. Hwisun eventually becomes more of a mom friend who does care deeply for the people close to him. He's very physically affectionate in more discreet ways and even if he still has sharp words, they have no bite or ill intent behind them.
Hwisun was born to two well known lawyers and never wanted for anything in his early life. He was a rather spoiled child when it came to items and luxary, though he wasn't so lucky with attention and affection from his parents. Due to the people who always tended to be around and similar situations for other kids his age, it wasn't something he ever viewed as out of the ordinary.
His early school life had him seeing his parents even less, though at this point he surrounded himself with his 'friends' instead. They often found themselves as part of the popular crowd due to their status and because of this, they tended to look down on most of the other students. Eventually this evolved into light hazing and then more serious bullying. This landed him with some enemies early on, but his status and relations kept things from ever tarnishing his reputation.
Early in his high school career, Hwisun was scouted by JOKeR Entertianment for his visuals and without much resistance from his aloof parents, started his path to becoming an idol. It was early on the members of their trainee group devided by status once again, the wealthier kids sticking together and isolating the others. This did cause issues with training, but the company pushed forward with the debut all the same
After a decently successful debut, issues within the group kept arising with increasing tension between the members. Hwisun especially found himself butting heads with the two youngest members - Jinhwan and Woojin - quite often to the point where netizens started to wonder if the members of the group actually even liked each other.

Gravit8tion faced a decrese in popularity due to their internal issues and eventually JOKeR Ent. decided to try and revive it via a survival show produced by the company itself called Shot In the Dark. Hwisun himself didn't personally try very hard to do well, but his visuals managed to keep his popularity near the top for nearly every episode. While this was going on, things behind the scenes with Gravit8tion remained the same. Eventually with the added stress of the show along with it, this caused youngest member Woojin to depart from the show due to his detoriating mental health.
This caused some controversy at the time centering around Gravit8tion, but still the show continued on and eventually Hwisun found himself in the final lineup. The new group - TrXIkShot - only lasted a few years before the controversies resurfaced and eventually caused the company to disband the group and break itself apart.

After the his contract was terminated, Hwisun faced a bit of public backlash for his attitued, issued a written apology, and entered the military. He served his military time out in silence, keeping out of the public spotlight as much as he could. Once he was discharged, he briefly returned home only to realize that sitting around in his parents usually empty penthouse was too boring for him.
His cousin Wonsik catches wind of him looking to re-enter the industry and puts out an offer to him, making the brutally honest observation that his company will probably be the only one to take Hwisun in due to his past controversy with bullying. After much debate and a few more burtally honest talks with his cousin, Hwisun accepts the offer to join Wonder Entertainment.
Hwisun was at some point put in charge of trainee group, Fracture, despite his initial protests at being the leader due to his association with some of the others as part of TrXIkShot and his bad reputation from the show overall. As time went on, things seemed to peak with a confrontation involving Changkyun. At a later point, the two do sit down and actually talk things out and at that point on, Hwisun notices a growing soft spot for the other that he doesn't fully understand.
This at some point slips out in one of his rare conversation with his parents and their reaction becomes something he never expected, suddenly told to pack his bag and not come back. At first, he takes it as a joke, but when he returns home later that night, he's denied entry and the reality of the situation sinks in. After sleeping in the companies practice room for a few weeks, he's taken in by Changkyun and it's after this point that Hwisun begins to heal and become better as a person overall.

His grounding force and the one who started his path to being a better person. Changkyun isn't afraid to knock sense into him when he needs it and Hwisun is very appreciative of him for it.
He adores the ground Changkyun walks on, but is more subtle with his affections, showing his love in little gestures.
The two didn't start out close, due to Hwisun being influenced by Deoksu early on. Once Hwisun's contract was terminated, Wonsik offered him a place to continue his career as an idol.
Wonsik becomes another factor that knocks some sense into him and gets him to straighten up his act, believing that putting Hwisun in charge of Fracture will help him learn the lessons he needs..
Woojin and Hwisun are full of bad history due to the older constantly picking at all of Woojin's faults and insecurities while they were in Gravit8tion together. Hwisun was the main cause of a lot of Woojin's eventual anxiety issues and why Woojin temporarily disappears from the industry completely.
Despite Hwisun actually growing as a person, Woojin still tends to avoid him at all costs and has a hard time viewing the apology he recieved as sincere.
Jinhwan and Hwisun also have a rather strained relationship due to the fact Jinhwan tried to be the wall between Hwisun's bad attitude and everyone else, which eventually took a rather harsh toll on him. He's very defensive any time Hwisun is involved, offering words just as harsh in an attempt to protect those around him.
He's a bit more willing than Woojin to accept the apology from Hwisun when it's offered, having witnessed first hand how much it seemed like Hwisun has changed. They don't become friends, but they are much more civil with each other.
