"Sister... where are you?"
A small little lizard girl surviving the harsh world she had been forced into. Miraculously and despite the hardships, she manages to scrape by cycle-by-cycle. She wanders on and on, braving great dangers and hoping that the lizards she meets will help her on her journey. A journey with only one thing in mind. That is to reunite with her sister that disappeared into the stormy night. It's a tough journey for sure, but with friends along the way, she is determined to find her.
Likes
Her big sister. Misses them dearly. They gave her the hat that she always wears.- Baby centipedes. They're pretty tasty, she says!
- Gris and Naut. They took care of her for quite a bit before she had to part ways with them.
Dislikes
Heights. The Sky Islands is a place she wouldn't like to be in. Death pits are scary too.- Spiders. Creepy crawlies.
- Vultures. There's one that always seem to be pursuing her.
She's a stubborn and determined child. Being a small little meek creature, Sofie is quick and agile on her feet being able to narrowly escape danger. Surprisingly, she's quite chatty and is able to easily befriend other lizards! Perhaps they can't help but pity her, and that they want to see this kid make it far within the hostile ruins of a forgotten world.
Despite making many friends, Sofie couldn't help but feel lonely with the absence of her sister. She had always been there for her, and her mysteriously disappearing took a toll on this poor child. Sofie clings onto those she meets for quite a while, before she is forced to muster up the courage to continue her search.
Abilities
Skitter-scatter: Being a small and nimble lizard, her small size aids her in getting out of tough situations.
Design
The hat is to remain on at all times.
Relationships
Sofie always loved being around her. They made her feel like she could reach the skies! She was the only family she had known about, so when she disappeared it was devastating to little poor Sofie. Despite the circumstances, she still had this nagging feeling that Atlas would come back to her one day.
The first of many lizards she would meet. Sofie regards him as a kind-hearted lizard who knows how to take a stance against danger. Her inital impression of him was that he would be as cowardly as all the other blue lizards were, but when Naut rushed in to fight against a vulture dragging her into the skies and almost lost a limb for it, she couldn't help but cry and apologise. The both of them and Gris would stay together for a few cycles before having to say goodbye.
At first, she was intimidated when Naut brought her along to see him. Quickly enough, they managed to hit it off well! Gris would teach her many things, usually with handling prey like noodleflies and what things and places to avoid. Sofie would never match his strength, and she didn't have to. Gris set her up with all the things she needed to survive out there, and so then she departs, waving goodbye to her two friends.
A... familiar stranger. To Sofie, he's just a lazy bum that goes wherever he wants. He said that her sister may have already departed somewhere else, wherever that is. She doesn't believe it, but there is a possibility that she may be there. So, the white lizard tells her the directions on where to get the key to access that place. He does seem to have good intentions though, always keeping an eye on her.
History
"Atlas!" The young lizard scurried towards open arms, kicking dirt along the way. She ran right into the embrace of her sibling, who spun her around and lifted Sofie right up into the air. She had returned! Sofie was quickly put down right back onto her feet, as her sister grabbed the squidcada bodies slunged over their shoulders and handing it to her. "Phew! These pesky things wouldn't stop pestering me! Hey, atleast we got some grub to eat, Sofie." They smile, watching Sofie tear at the squidcada and scoffing it down. When she was finished in a couple of minutes, Atlas couldn't help but notice a shadow looming over them. It was time. "Hey, Sofie. Let's get going."
When raindrops started to fall, Atlas held Sofie's hand tightly. They made their way through the pipes as the rumbling began to increase in intensity. They finally managed to crawl through one of many burrows. The rain was something the siblings had grown accustomed to. It's just a natural part of life. Sofie couldn't help but feel drowsy lying sprawled in the den and quickly drifted to sleep, as if the rain was the world's lullaby. Atlas smiles once again at their sister who fell into slumber, closing their eyes as well.
But Atlas didn't sleep.
When Sofie woke up, she was gone. It was strange. It was unlike them to leave her alone before she could even wake up. She was confused. She waited and waited. They didn't come back. The lizard child crawled out of the den, mad that her sibling would leave her alone like this for a long time. But when she peeked outside, all she could notice were strands of purple feathers scattered above the surface.
Sofie cried. She cried and cried, until tears were no more. No, she couldn't be-! Atlas wouldn't just let themselves get taken away like that. Atlas was strong and able to get the both of themselves out of any situation. Sofie held onto the glimmer of hope that her sister would still be out there. So, the lizard child wiped her stained face and stood upwards, scurrying out into the world to find what remains of her sibling.

Trivia
Originally, Sofie was not part of the initial roster I had with my lizard cast. I had Gris, Naut, Lurien and Sol set in stone but Sofie and Atlas were supposed to be one person. I split them into two because their original design had nothing substantial to note. With the creation of Sofie's design, I thought it would be cute for her and Atlas be siblings.- Her hair is the only one not to match with her hue. Reason? I fucked up during design but I keep it anyways because why not.
- Her design was inspired by Manju from the Lonely Wolf Treat series.
