The Lucky One

Suki, still a Dratini back then, was the first prize at Celadon City’s casino. After members of the Team Rocket got partial control of the city, they rigged the machines to ensure their winning of the rare Pokémon. But Sarha, coincidentally at the right place, right moment, won the Dratini instead.

While Suki immediately took a liking on Sarha, Sacha, still young back then, got upset and a little jealous. Meanwhile, the Team Rocket was not going to let them leave with their precious Pokémon. As soon as the two left Celadon City, they were attacked by several members of the evil team, trying to get Dratini back. Sacha told Sarha to leave and hide with Dratini while he would stop them with Pikachu. Reluctantly, with a fearful Dratini in her arms, Sarha accepted to leave and hide.

Dratini shook in fear, but the one who found their hiding place was Sacha. He pet the little Pokémon, telling him that he wouldn’t let anyone take her away from Sarha.

Dratini later evolved into Dragonair. She’s a powerful help for Sarha, especially when she becomes a Pokémon Ranger.
