Demeanor
Allison is a listener; she rarely speaks unless it is absolutely necessary to. She would rather focus her attention on hearing out what others have to say, versus putting her two cents in. She learned from a young age that she's better keeping to herself when it comes to the things that she thinks or wishes to say, favoring putting others before her.
Allison is terrible with communication. She has a bad habit of putting off answering messages or calls, having a preference for isolating herself. Face to face, she's a little more receptive to responding when she finds that it's necessary to. Otherwise, she keeps herself fairly isolated away from others, as her trust with people is very limited due to a rough time growing up.
Just like she is with communication, Allison is awful with showing affection. She's not a fan of hugs or physical touch; she'd rather just give a nod or shake of the head for confirmation or denial, or a thumbs up or thumbs down. Allison tends to shy away from touch or affection that's offered to her, for no other reason than the fact that she's just not accustomed to the care that comes with such actions.

Childhood
- Allison picked up the violin on her own.
- She developed a love of flowers at a young age.
- She was always fond of libraries, finding comfort in their quietness.
- Allison was very close with her grandmother, a highly renowned fortune teller.
- Allison is an alias; her birthname is Lindsey Winters.
- Her cat Coruscis is a silver Egyptian mau.
Born to parents (Leon and Sierra Winters) with sworn allegiance to Mundus, Lindsey grew up very distant from her parents ideals. As a child, she was quiet and withdrawn from most around her, having watched her parents deceptively play other people in order to get information. Lindsey used her distance to keep other people safe, her moral compass considerably strong for such a small child. At 8 years old, she listened to her father plan out an attack on a well-known family of angelic descent, calling for the execution of all living members of the Cadieux family. Lindsey remembered her father's words as she grew; "Leave no survivors. The cost doesn't matter. There will be no bridges fabricated between those with power and those who are weak." It was Lindsey's mother was the one who set the blaze at the Cadieux estate.
As a student, Lindsey was more of a quiet, keep to herself type. Most attempts at friendships with her would result in her pushing people away--growing up in a malicious home, Lindsey figured keeping people at a distance would keep them safe from harm. She did well with her grades, picked up playing violin as a hobby, and making it into a part of her future. She would spend a great deal of time in the library or in empty classrooms, occasionally the auditorium to practice playing her violin.
At 12 years old, Lindsey fled her home in favor of staying with her paternal grandmother, Leora Starcrest. Leora, a woman with visions and secrets, took the young girl in without question, helping to hide her from her parents. As she grew grew, she shed her family's last name of Winters, and took on the last name of her grandmother, Starcrest. In addition to this, she also adopted the name Allison, to further hide herself from her parents. As she grew, this would be the name that she was recognized by, and Lindsey Winters would merely be a memory. By the time she was 16 years old, Allison would wind up alone in an unforgivingly cruel world with darkness shrouding it.
Teenage Years
- Allison meets Dante and Helena, welcoming them to stay at the bar with her.
- The death of Allison's grandmother shakes up Allison's world.
- Allison finds her new furry friend, Coruscis.
Allison's talents with the violin had gotten the attention of several schools that expressed interest in having her study with them. She had considered going off to college to study music up until the loss of her grandmother. She was 16 years old at the time of Leora's passing. Not much is known of the passing of her grandmother, but Allison gave up her music playing dreams and opted to stay behind and run the bar. It was later learned that Allison would inherit the bar as her own.
Allison would inherit her grandmother's bar, and make it her own place of refuge. She would stay in the space above the bar with a cat that she found on the streets. The cat, who she named Coruscis (ko-rue-shis), would stay at her side and keep her company during her lonlier times. Allison would claim one of the rooms in the tiny apartment above the bar for herself and the small cat.
The bar would serve as a safehaven for many people, including Dante and Helena. She would meet the two young teens while wandering through the deep woods of Red Grave, keeping off the well-beaten paths where trouble often lingered. The woods were her safe way to move from area to area, so when she came across Dante and Helena, an instinct kicked in to where she would protect them. Offering them shelter in the space above the bar, she would let them have the other room to stay in while they got themselves together. With this, the trio would slowly evolve into a close knit group of friends.
Current Day
- Allison learns of her ties to Mundus.
- Bar is used as a safehaven for those who needs it.
- She learns of her demonic abilities.
Allison's life takes a complicated turn once she, Helena, and the Sparda brothers (upon Vergil's return from hell), are dissolved into deep research about Mundus and Allison's newly emerging abilities. It turns out, Allison's family had blood ties to Mundus, albeit very diluted. Allison's abilities with what the DMC team calls "blood magic", are demonic abilities from Mundus.
Learning to control her abilities turns out to be a task. At first, she was highly unstable with them, her initial trigger form being forced by Mundus. The bulk of Allison's story continues here, as she fights along friends and family, to once and for all eliminate the evil that is Mundus.

Met by chance in a library, while Allison was conducting intel work and Helena was working on translations.
Slow to take off with their friendship, the pair more often than not ran into one another at the library while conducting their own manners of work. Much later on, Helena and Allison would get to know each other a bit more through shared interactions at the Bullseye Bar.
Met by fate in Fortuna. In old premonitions and readings that Allison's grandmother had done, she told Allison that she would meet a young woman with extraordinary alchemy abilities, that would be able to help her and her friends, when the time came. For a brief time while Allison and the rest of her group had parted ways, Allison tried to dig up information on the young woman, and track her down.
The two share a very simple friendship, consisting of helping one another out with their tasks. Allison gathers materials for Valerie, while Valerie continues to make new supplies for Allison to take with her on her ventures into the demon infested world.
