Overview
A brilliant and intuitive alchemist, Valerie spends a great deal of time gathering herbs and miscellaneous demon bits to create a great many things. Proficient in her knowledge due to an insatiable urge to learn as a child, she creates useful tinctures and salves that can be used by many. When it comes to her involvement in the grand scheme of things, Valerie is a hard working young woman who carries determination in her heart, and strength to do what's necessary on her sleeve.
Valerie resides in Fortuna, where a great deal of her materials are sourced. She travels in the company of her friends, and is a pretty good shot with a pistol, if she needs to defend herself.

One of Valerie's big habits comes in the form of organizing her herbs and tinctures. They always have to be in alphabetical order, with their labels facing forward. She keeps meticulous notes about her successes and failures, in the event that someone needs to replicate her work. Her workspace tends to be a little cluttered, but she focuses well with it. One of her major quirks is never quite finishing her drinks, whether it's water, juice, or something else. She always seems to leave at least a mouthful in the bottom of the glass.
Valerie speaks very fast when she's nervous or excited. She speaks well, and communicates in a mostly coherent manner. Sometimes in her nervousness or excitement, words may get jumbled--but she has no issues with going back and restating things that people may have missed. She knows how to properly communicate when she's struggling or having a problem with something, and often will talk through problems, rather than blow them off.
The way that Valerie shows affection can be complicated at times. While she loves to give and receive hugs, she often takes time to get to know the way people in her life respond to affection. Sometimes affection comes in the form of reassuring words or gestures, while othertimes, it will come in the form of embraces or gifts. Valerie is big on offering affection to those in the ways that resonate best with them, spending plenty of time observing, before making any advances or efforts.
