hello! im trying to add an audio player to the little side bar (where the "extra" spot is) for a voice claim, but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to add it in without messing up the whole code :(

Hmmm, that's tricky. The code's been restructured in a way that looks like WYSIWYG was used, actually. Have you tried disabling the feature directly from display settings? The checkbox beside "Profile Text" in specific must be disabled.
If that doesn't work, this might be a bug. At that point, I would recommend filing a ticket.

Hey, you inspired me to make an edit of this code with that effect!
I put the effect itself into 2 text files! If you paste "carousel buttons snippet" into the "icons" section and then the "carousel main snippet" into the "about" section, it should make the three icons on the images take you to 3 separate "pages" where the bio initially sits. I also did my best to add notes so that it'd be as easy as possible to change.
There's probably more "correct" ways to do it but I'm new to HTML so this is what I got. If you use the edit lemme know if it works! If you wanna see the code in action the profile I used it for is here!
