Liza Thorne was just trying to live her life to the fullest. Now shes doing her part in her afterlife.
She's Shadesburys leader, whether she acknowledges it or not. Ever since they all died, all the cizitens have been coming to her for any help they need with say, not going insane, or bringing a restless spirit causing havoc back to normal.

- shadesbury is always cloudy, and it has a large stone wall surrounding it
- if she focuses hard enough she can hold a living person and make them temporarily go translucent and lets them do ghosty stuff like...going through objects
- she can still be hit, kind of. if shes 'hit' too many times she loses all of her energy and she just cant. do anything

- she always looks like this since Shes Dead and cant really change clothes
she was the eldest heir of her family, so a lot of pressure was put onto her. her parents wanted to make sure she never went astray, but that just ended in them being VERY controlling.
couple months before the entire town went downhill, her parents hired a bodyguard for her. suprise! it was rosita. they had a fun time together, and liza finally got to live her life when rosita entered it, but it didnt last long as she was killed by rosita on her birthday. a couple days after this happened, khione, rositas... boss? found the whole town had just gotten annoying, so she just killed literally everyone. haha.
the magic of the towns clocktower made it so the town became a ghosttown, and all cizitens who had died within the week came back as ghosts. some eventually went insane, which leaded to them becoming crazed spirits that were mostly just annoying, but some caused some harm which lead to liza developing her gun hand thing to get rid of them.
she cares for them a lot. when they first showed up, liza was shocked- two people alive, randomly showing up in the library? claiming to be from another world? she decided to just roll with it. cara seems to open up to her more than sunny does.
same thing as cara! liza cares for her a lot as well. she took them both in her care while they tried to find a way back home, and grew attached to them both along the way
lizas current relationship with rosita is... complicated. rosita was her first and only love, but when she killed her liza assumed she was just out to get her from the very start. this caused her to feel really bitter towards her. when she saw her again after YEARS she was shocked. she had assumed she had died already for one thing, and she hadnt aged a second. there were two things about her that were starkly different: a rose in her right eye, and the fact that she didnt seem to remember who liza was, or the whole town at all.
