About

Born in the mid-18th century in rural France, Victoire lived a simple life as a seamstress with dreams of riches and glory, until a fateful encounter with a vampire that left her permanently changed. After a...somewhat difficult adjustment period, she managed to persevere with the knowledge that at least now she had all the time in the world to achieve her goals...provided she wasn't hunted down as a monster first, of course. Nowadays, her skill, experience, and love of the craft have allowed her to become quite a successful designer by occult standards, respected and well-connected within the community.

A bit vain but overall friendly and generous, Victoire has a strong flair for the theatrical and dramatic. Her age and vampiric strength have left her fairly unflappable in the face of danger or loss, but her ambition has never lost its edge, and she can be quite competitive. While assertive and confident in her skills, she can be rather paranoid and often suspects sabotage and conspiracy when there really is none...although a little paranoia can be appropriate at times, can't it?

Notes
  • Can mainly be categorized as a haute couture designer and tends towards a blend of antique and modern aesthetics in her designs, favoring more sleek silhouettes, elements like capes or flared sleeves, and black and red or adjacent colors.

  • Her designer label is Courrone de Soie, translated to 'crown of silk' in English.

  • While like all vampires, she needs blood or similar to live on, she also enjoys strawberry-flavored things.

  • Despite being born in relative poverty, nowadays she has very little sense of how much things cost. I mean, it's one banana, Michael. What could it cost? 10 dollars?

  • Doesn't tend to work closely with SC like her friend the late Elaine Tremblay did, but has at least a passing familiarity with their leadership.
