I needed a front page for my world so I made one! The world used as an example is The Sirin Culture by CrispinAsheYA (me!) Go and join and make a Crispinverse Sirin OC. =)

The Sirin
The Sirin are winged humans. Yes, that's not a very creative concept for a species, I'm aware. But what the Sirin make up for in design and concept- They make up for in culture!
Sirin culture is actually 2 main cultures masquerading as one- Mycenaean & Atosian. The Mycenaeans are from the Greek islands, and the Atosians are from Southern Russia. (Both groups also historically settled in the Carpathian Mountains). However, in 1954, all the Sirin were yoinked from their ancestral home in a huge exodus known to those that lived through its horrors known as "The Migration". In present day, most Sirin live in a small town in Devon, England, known as South Mana.

GLOSSARY
Atosian - A Sirin from the Pre-Migration North. (In modern times, this would be Southern Russia, Ukraine, and the Carpathian Mountains in Romania.)
Mycenaean - A Sirin from the Pre-Migration South. (In modern times, thsi would be the Greek islands, Macedonia, and the Carpathian Mountains in Romania.)
Pre-Migration - What Sirin culture and society was like before The Migration of 1954.
The Migration - A huge forced-exodus carried out by NATO in late 1954 when The Sirin were kidnapped from their ancestral home in Eastern Europe and were forced to live in a rural town in Devon, England.
Post Migration - What Sirin culture and society has become after The Migration of 1954 happened.
Flock - The group of about 2-3 extended-families a Sirin lives in. This is usually indicated by last name. (For example, "Mycea Crow" would be from the Crow Flock.)

- Larger Flocks - Less Of Them

- Historically from Modern-Day Russia
- Cusine Favours Non-Aquatic Meats
- Smaller Flocks - More Of Them
The Sirin are a semi-closed species! Anyone can make one, you don't need a MYO slot.
However, if you want to be approved, I need to review your OC to make sure it doesn't conflict with The Pre-Established Lore. There are both pros and cons to having an "Approved" or "Unregulated" Sirin. By default, your Sirin will be Unregulated, and getting approved is completely optional.
By asking to have your Sirin OC approved, you are consenting to me cameo-ing them in my written works. You still 100% own them, it is just a cameo. If having someone basically write and then profit off of a cameo of your character makes you uncomfortable, it's better you stick to having an Unregulated Sirin.
(If you make a Sirin OC, even if you don't want me to approve them, please submit them to the world anyway! I want to see what you guys make!)
