Profile

Dunne is the second member recruited to the team. His side-effect from the operation shortened his temper, resulting in a sort of explosive anger that he tries to bottle up. Dunne tries to channel it into physical training and meditation when he can, but avoids touching people unless it's appropriate, out of worry of hurting them in an unexpected fit of rage.
He was previously employed as a retrieval specialist, but quit shortly before being picked up as a member of the team. He appears reserved, but is an intelligent and engaging person when approached. His worst habit is being much harder on himself than he is on others.

Traits:

  • Tends to give off the impression that he wants to be alone, regardless of whether it's true
  • Feels very competent, and quickly turns to open self-deprecation and the secret strive to improve when he falls short
  • Very critical of himself, but tries to project an air of calm confidence
  • Keeps business professional, even off duty
  • Tries not to get attached to people, but forms strong attachment to those he grows close to
  • Watches people closely, and sees through lies more often than most due to this
  • Helps others a lot, but mostly because it makes him feel stronger/more confident
  • Isn't the type to break the ice, but can hold a conversation pretty well
  • Very analytical and a sound strategist, but doesn't share those types of thoughts with people
  • Has a strong sense of pride but is not disdainful
  • Prefers to hide his heritage, which is why he dyes his hair
  • Gets most worked up and lively when competing with others
Relationships:
  • Yesac: Dunne puts a lot of faith in him, and sees him as a person with a good heart. He realises how tough Yesac's job must be in comparison to the rest of the team, so Dunne tries his best to be reliable and burden Yesac with his personal problems as scarcely as possible. Instead, he ends up lending an ear to Yesac's issues and helping him with his decisions.
  • Lal: Since she's so transparent and he sees through people easily, he gets a little uncomfortable around her tough front at times. He teases her about things mostly to let her know she's being transparent, and she tends to retaliate by challenging him in puerile competition. His pride won't let him back down from a challenge, so they compete fairly regularly. He has fun with her when she gets into things and doesn't hide how she's feeling. She's the only one in the group that he can get worked up about doing things with, since they treat many things as a game or challenge when they're together.
  • Sheneb: Once Dunne cracked his facade, they got along extremely well. He kind of sees Sheneb like one of his younger brothers, and has protective urges that he fulfills by helping him out. When Dunne needs someone to confide in, he goes to Sheneb, since they share a close bond and Sheneb doesn't talk much with the others to begin with. For this same reason, he finds Sheneb to be good for sharing a quiet moment with. They share a calm, comfortable happiness when they hang out casually, and are there to support each other in at their low points.
  • Nolche: Dunne sees him as an enigma. Usually he sees through people better than he would like, so the fact that Nolche is so hard to read piqued his interest. At first Dunne just watched him a little to try and figure him out, but once Lal got fixated on him, Dunne started watching him to intervene or assist him when Lal was pushing him around too much with no resistance. From there they started hanging around together more often. Dunne's the one with the best read on Nolche's muted emotions.
