Profile

Lal is the first member of the team that Yesac recruited, and the side-effect of the operation increases her tendency to raise her voice out of operational mode, to the point where when she's overwhelmed she urgently feels the need to scream. With time she's managed to control it enough to sing when she feels like screaming.
She's one of the younger recruits, but is highly skilled at her craft. She's from a noble family, but hasn't seemed to pick up the proper social grace yet. Both her skills and class give her an abundance of arrogance, but she mainly plays a support role.

Traits:

  • Is rather self-centered and arrogant
  • Cares about how others feel, but doesn't usually notice
  • Enjoys ordering people around and dislikes it when others don't do as she tells them
  • Quick to get upset/worked up, and thus is easily teased
  • Likes to win, and is thrilled by competition
  • Hates showing weakness to others or admitting she's wrong
  • Tends to be condescending to others
  • Is pretty transparent to others, but not intentionally
  • Gets really excited about things she likes/enjoys
  • Dislikes being left out or ignored
  • Doesn't have a sense of personal space and is physically affectionate
Relationships:
  • Yesac: Lal likes him, but would rather stay by his side and fantasize about it working out than tell him, since she's sure if she confessed, he'd reject her to preserve their working relationship. She tries to be by his side whenever she can, and since she knows that seeing other people uncomfortable makes him uncomfortable, she usually tries to rope others into having fun. More than anything else, she loves his charming smile and when he pays attention to her. (She's a teen it's a crush ok)
  • Dunne: They have a lot of friction. Of everyone in the group, he's the most resistant to her suggestions and the most likely to call her out when she's wrong, so she's a little bitter to him at times. She tends to compete with him in things, and it spirals out of control sometimes. It mostly ends up being in good fun, but she takes her losses personally pretty often. It's not as bad as it sounds--they engage in friendly competition fairly often, too.
  • Sheneb: Lal is jealous of how much prettier he is, even with the disparity in their breeding. She also tends to forget when he's around sometimes, since he doesn't tend to speak up on his own. She's pretty bad at communicating with him since she doesn't tend to notice what others don't tell her, and he doesn't like speaking up for himself. This obviously leads to quite a bit of miscommunication errors when they speak one on one, but she appreciates Sheneb being as close to a female friend as she's going to get in this male-oriented team, and goes to him to whine a little.
  • Nolche: Lal's preoccupation with him started with Yesac's odd preoccupation with him, but it didn't stop there. His extreme receptiveness to orders and her tendency to give them out without thought led to them interacting often. While she didn't notice that their relationship was mostly as such in the beginning, once she did notice, she resolved to make it up to him by trying to help him have fun and getting him to do things with the group while they are at leisure. She never really stops to think about whether he wants her helping him, though.
