Tetsuo is Rin's student at least that's what Tetsuo is claiming as Rin himself has denied this every time it's mentioned. Tetsuo is like the awkward middle child of the team: he doesn't necessarily receive all the attention, but he's certainly not ignored. Given the fact the male has a naughty nature, he has the tendency to pull pranks and do things that he should honestly not be doing. He can be rowdy and often gives Rin a headache. Apparently, the bandage on his leg is meant to cover a nasty scar he received from fighting Tsume. He doesn't really see the need to evolve.
