"Angel Game"--It's said to be a game where one could gain the ability to control powerful elements by having a magical, circle-shaped symbol on their left hand called the "Angel's Heart". However, it was discovered that the price you pay to play this game is by having a certain "misfortune"; and that alone became the reason why the game is frowned upon society--saying it's the source of these misfortunes or the sign of an upcoming war between mankind. One day, Kokoro found herself owning the rumored Angel's Heart...after facing her biggest loss...

"What's the point of being good...at everything... If I can't say... all the words jumbled in my mind..."
The secretary of St. Angel's Student Council. One could wonder on how he's a part of the Student Council as he's often seen sleeping in the office, but Inugami's talent is pretty much the jack-of-the-trades among the Student Council, and someone you would dub as "naturally gifted".
Personality
He is known for his eidetic memory and having an all-rounded talents in both academics and Angel Gaming, it was proven that Inugami himself barely put any efforts to do well in both--making him quite the fast learner; and one something people would call a "natural talent". Though, he doesn't seem to care at all about his ability, and often prefer slacking around and sleeping rather than sharpening his skills that could've been easily improved.
Inugami hates being ordered around and can show his rebellious side when he was forced to do something he refused to, however, on the flip side; he still does his Student Council acitivities (albeit mostly the lighter tasks) when he felt like doing so and provide assistance when needed, despite mostly treating the others no more than mere colleagues. It was also implied that Inugami also hides certain insecurities behind his selfish image, and grow accustomed to being treated "differently" mostly because of his lack of social skills.

Inugami repeatedly mention that his misfortune is the reason Inugami has given up on life, and it's also connected to Inugami's fear of being abandoned; making him owns the phobia of being left behind by those he seems to get attached to.
Inugami was often verbally bullied and made fun of for being "different" than the others, as nobody wanted to befriend him because he was too good at everything, and he lacks the social skills to communicate with others. Unfortunately, as Inugami is often treated as a joke--Inugami couldn't fight back as no one would take his anger seriously, making Inugami felt like he's being treated as some kind of dog who couldn't speak to protect himself. Things did not get better to Inugami's mental condition--Inugami received his "Heart" after his grandparents passed away, and his parents later forced Inugami to live in St. Angel by himself. Inugami started calling his life as a joke, especially with how he easily lose people that he once trusted--he started losing his will to live, but he was also afraid of taking his own life that he rather wait until the day he'll eventually die and end his "nightmares".
Current story
Losing on the will to live, Inugami does not care about anything else and only seek for the fastest "end" to his life. Even if by all means, ignoring all his progress and abilities and refuse to follow any demands. Most would easily think Inugami as the most rebellious and unapproachable, but in actual reality; it's mostly Inugami having issues to communicate with others properly from his own anxiety, he also started being more vocal with his disagreements as a form of self-defense; and not to repeat his childhood of being bullied.
While it wasn't implied on Inugami's actual role in the story, he is a part of the honored Student Council; and probably one of the few that doesn't give that much attention to Angel Game or even consider how it affected his life which shows that Inugami is on the neutral side.

Manami Izumi
Friends...?
Manami is one of the few that can approach Inugami without it turning into anything negative. Initially, they seem to look like complete opposite of each other--as Manami is a striving hardworker who aims to improve on his flaws and Inugami is a fast learner that barely puts effort to do something perfectly; but later it was shown both also have similarities in not having the best social skills.
Kazuki Nagashima
Former classmates
Knowing each other prior before becoming students in St. Angel, their meeting came off awkward at first. While they were said to not interact much during their entire time sharing the same class in middle school, Inugami surprisingly remembers Kazuki's old self during that time...
Takuto
Enemies(?)
As Takuto hates those who doesn't follow his plans as ordered to, Inugami and Takuto often get themselves in a lot of arguments. Inugami is the only one who dares to go against Takuto such as talking rudely to him and skipping any planned meetings.
