Apple Dash

Appledash is a mash up of Applejack and Rainbow Dash. like Aj and Dash she has a very outgoing and competitive nature. She lacks the hardworking drive of AJ unless it comes to making it a competition of some sort. Applebucking, oh how dull...wait you think you can do more than me, well we shall see. While she has no wings she is a speed demon, though sometimes lacks the navigational skills of a pegasus...darn trees always getting in the way.


Parent's reaction: Prior to hatching Aj was quite enthusiastic about another set of hooves to help out on the farm while RD was determined that she would be the best flyer in all equestria and set records before she could speak. As they waited the two gals became so competitive dreaming up bigger and stronger goals that they completely forgot about the reality of the situation. When she hatched Aj was smug and RD aghast. A filly from her was NOT a pegasus?! What was she supposed to do with an earth pony. For the first while of the AD's life Aj was determined to beat a strong work ethic into the foal. Its all about apples after all...AD ran. RD was rather put out and watched from afar till she saw exactly how fast the lil gal could go and then began modifying her original ideas. Finally the girls settled on raising her as the fastest runner (and applebucker) in all of Equestria.

Much to the Dismay and curiosities of the ponies of Equestria it turned out that the foals born of the cursed mirror spent little time as children. Within a week or two they had become full grown adults ready to make their own way. On the upside their 'parents' only had to endure the moody teenagers for a day or two. On the downside many folks began to look at them in a strange light referring to them as 'The Reflected' and not /normal/ ponies.

Unlike some of the more gentile natured ponies Appledash is more than willing to get up in anyone's face if they refer to her as not normal. She learned this from Rainbow Dash in part, but mostly Applejack. She truly is a little fire cracker. She stayed mostly with the apple family, though found any excuse to run off with Dash and avoid work that she could. When work did beckon ( it was easier than having to listen to AJ get on her case about it ) She did it fast and precises leaving a rainbow trail in her wake.

Her special talent is speed. When she takes off at full speed a rainbow colored wave was left in her wake. On the upside this rainbow left some of the apples sparkling with a special flavor something like a Zapapple, but not quite. As a result the apple family was able to start carrying special goodies throughout the growing season!
