History
Lineage
Vaughn originates from a wealthy family in Aspen, Colorado, composed of sport elites in various disciplines. Every individual of the family experienced immense pressure to be the best of the best, and Vaughn was no exception. Rigorous training regimes and constant abuse at the hands of their entire family led Vaughn to depise the very concept of "family." Right after they were of legal age, Vaughn began distancing themselves from the family name. They kept contact for financial purposes but drew away best they could without creating a publicity explosion.
Present
They had started to form a seperate name for themselves near the midst of their figure-skating career, rejecting the heritage and boasting about their worth without the title. But these statements didn't come without angering their family. Vaughn was slandered, and for awhile their reputation was tainted by their families cruel words. Yet Vaughn's skill overshadowed any petty gossip meant to hurt them. They won a gold medal, thrice, and were easily considered one of the most beloved American figure-skaters.
Vaughn's elegant routines earned them a large following and they pushed themselves to the limit physically in order to deliver a beautiful skate. But Vaughn overextended themselves. A simple pulled muscle during one of the semi-final competitons resulted in a catastrophic loss. Vaughn was humilated, and their families mockery reared it's ugly head once more. Personality
The Basics: One
Vaughn has a cold exterior that can be incredibly misleading to their true nature. Vaughn is sensitive and quick to rise to bait. Their temper leads into a deeper softness and vulnerability that they're afraid to show in fear of getting hurt. Vaughn is sweet, and physically very affectionate. They have a difficult time controlling their laughter.
The Basics: Two
Vaughn manages to be majorly cheeky and witty. They love to boast and their passion is most visible when they're on a fiery rant about skating or a new romance novel. Vaughn has deep rooted emotional fears that can cause them to lash out, but with those they love and care for Vaughn is incredibly comfortable and protective.

Appearance
Vaughn has a pale complexion dotted with scars from the underworld, and a few scrapes from skating across their body. Their long button nose makes their pointy face seem even sharper, while their round pointed ears balance them out. Vaughn has choppy plum shaded hair, cut in an awkward bob for one half while the other side remains long. Their scelera is a deep red against their white pupils.
Vaughn enjoys wearing silky and flowy fabrics. Although their main outfit for sometime was an old skate uniform peppered with bandages under the fabric, their casual wear once made available is more elegant than their rags. Vaughn typically keeps their chest bound with bandages while in Hell if possible, and they use their skates as defense and style. Their formal wear, and truthfully daily-wear, is incredibly remeniscint of 1990's high fashion.
Vaughn has heavily developed hellish features. Certain parts of their skin have a red tint to them, and they have developed a short tuft-ended tail. Their ears have also morphed, and their eyes have developed a unique color. Their pupil sizes are notably different at all times, regardless of lighting or stimulation.

Relationships
Reggie
Accidentally fell in love with the sacrifice? Whoops.
Vaughn's initial intention was to manipulate Reggie. They saw Reggie as nothing but a task in accquiring their freedom. Their one track mind wavered once they saw how kind Reggie was. Vaughn was the first to fall in their relationship, flustered by Reggie's wit and careless advances. Something about him mystified Vaughn in a way that had them head over heels. Although Vaughn's betrayal was a crushing blow to Reggie, the pair were able to kiss and make up.
Josef
Two annoyingly complicated individuals in one room.
Initially Vaughn didn't want anything to do with Josef. The prospect of finding someone, despite his resources, who had gone to hell and reported it to no-one was aggravating to Vaughn. Despite their strong objections they couldn't deny Reggie, and begrudingly helped find Josef. The two butt heads a lot in the start of their relationship, strong personalities with little to no filters. But they began to bond over their fears and struggles, soon becoming good friends.
