Flamboyant, sarcastic, and cruel. Chimmney often plays the role of an observer to other peoples' lives, giving quips and making commentary where he pleases. He carries himself in an "orbit" around conflict, inserting himself wherever he can take advantage of and delighting in the misfortune of others and playing games with their heads.

In truth, he is deeply pessimistic about humans. Underneath the layers of his playfulness, he is bitter, melancholy, tired. He feels as if he wasn't given a choice on whether to exist or not, and must bear this for the rest of his life.

It's not as if it's impossible for him to be Not A Dick, though. He has a distorted sense of altruism and a need to "take care" of people deep down. Picking and choosing when to be wise and kind is one of his Big Character Traits. Sometimes his 'nature' of being an animalistic, selfish creature wins, and sometimes he rises above his station in order to protect and be a friend to those he genuinely cares about. For better or worse, heh.

He's old-fashioned, and it shows in the way he carries himself and his attitude/speech. His mannerisms are lifted somewhere from the early 20th century.

His magic is dependent on a contract. Until he can get a hand on your soul, he can't do /anything/ to you. He uses souls to feed off of, actually. Chimmney is a creature that is constantly magically cannibalizing itself.

WIP but in summary in most plotlines he meets Tom at a young age, manipulates/befriends him because the poor boy has nobody else, and either they split up or Tom dies. He's pretty versatile RP-wise.
