Don't let the Captain of the Records Team deceive you. Loki Sorenson introduces himself as an easygoing guy always looking out for his colleagues. He loves to hoard the spotlight as one who never shies away from a challenge and frequently teases others, but it's always in good nature. As a former Zwei Fixer, his signature grin puts people at ease because they believe he's looking out for them. But as soon as the situation takes a lethal turn, the first person he's saving is himself. He loves telling others he used to work for the Zwei, but never that he was only in it for the money.

That upbeat persona he puts on is also a mask hiding his nihilistic worldview. He's more coniving than people think, and he's manipulated others more than they realize. If nothing really matters, why should he care about what others think of him? That's why he always puts himself first and makes his life and leisure a priority above all else.

Before he joined the corporation, he was a Grade 6 Zwei Fixer. He lived with his then-girlfriend Angrboda until she gave birth to their daughter Hel. It was only until after giving birth did Angrboda realize she didn't want to be a mother, resulting in an argument with Loki, who wanted to keep the baby. She ended up leaving him when Hel was only four months old. For the next decade, Loki worked as a single father to support his daughter, a little girl who was obssessed with the macabre and wanted to become a mortician, as well as their dog Fenrir. Despite his philosphical worldviews, his little family was the only thing he genuinely cared about.

Things changed one night when Loki and five other Zwei Fixers embarked on an escort mission. Their client told them to be wary of any assassins, but none of them expected it when a Shi Fixer practically materialized out of the darkness to cut down their client with one stroke of his sword. Although it was far too late, the Zwei Fixers fought the assassin in retaliation, who killed each and every one of them with brutal efficiency. All except for Loki, who had prioritized protecting himself rather than striking down the foe. He pulled through and lived despite sustaining a mortal injury.

Unfortunately, his failure to protect either his client or his colleagues resulted in his removal from the Zwei Association for being unable to uphold their motto. Hearing this news, Angrboda returned to take Hel away, having married a husband who could financially support her and their daughter while also having changed her mind about having children. Now jobless and without the one person who gave light to his life, Loki set out on a quest for revenge. First, he hired someone from the Sevens Association to gather information on the assassin who brought his misfortune upon him. They returned with answers: the Shi Fixer's name was Griffin, a Grade 3 Fixer from Shi's South Section 2. His next step would've been to exact vengeance on Griffin, but unfortunately, Loki had gambled all his money away after acquiring a gambling addiction.

He needed to find a way to pay his rent fast, or his landlord was going to evict him and his pets. Fortunately, it was at this time when L Corp sent a letter to Loki telling him he had been accepted to work at their headquarters branch. His eyes rounded at the potential salary he'd be paid. Packing up and accepting the job offer was the easiest decision in his life. Even funnier is a certain person he'll meet, almost as if it were fate...
