Lorelai "Lyra" Liu was born to a very rich family in Xale City, where she grew up with her younger brother Eliot. She was heavily favored by her parents while they ignored and often neglected her younger brother due to his general weirdness and strange claims of ghosts throughout his early childhood.
She really loves her younger brother, and tried to stick up for him whenever she could. However, extracurriculars, school work, and other activities put on her by her parents often rendered her too busy to really spend time with him while balancing her own life. Because of this, she never really got the chance to live life how she wanted to.
She died in a tragic car accident at 26 years old. She lingered, with her greatest regret for Eliot to find a place where he could be happy. It is unknown if she is still haunting him, as Eliot can no longer see ghosts.
