Being able to outwit just about anyone who tries to weasel their way into the Hearth's databases, they've solidified their occupation as an Operator for many years to come.

a bad hand
Faust had a rough start in life, to say the least. Born without their arms fully formed, they mostly relied on their wings and talons to get things done. While it worked for most things, it seemed to hinder their ability to manifest their magic. As such, they were eventually locked out of the family home, and forced to fend for themself.
alleys and allies
Living on the streets of the outskirts is a portion of Faust's life that they would love to forget. A very 'every man for himself' mindset is present there, unless you know the right people. They didn't. Dumpster diving for food in the hours where no one else was around is when they got their lucky break, and made an unlikely friend.
the hearth
While unexpected, the bond the young crow made with an Operator of the Hearth would prove to be valuable in many ways. Finally seeing someone who looked like them, they let their guard down a fair bit faster than they normally would have. It only took a few weeks for them to follow the wolf back home, and the rest is history. Now working under Emrbis, Faust has gained a pair of customized arms, and something they can finally consider a family.
Ah the big man himself. Sparky, hot head, firecracker, all names apply. He's unpredictable at the best of times
We're chill, I guess. He's a sort of mentor for the rest of us Operators. Been here longer than anyone can guess

She gives me hope. Yea, cliche, whatever, but... She gets it. I'm really glad to have someone like her... As a friend! We're friends.
