he's not super old or anything, just perhaps the most enthusiastic and BRAVE to have done as much adventuring as he has. unfortunately it cost him quite a bit, and due to his missing eye, he cannot 'adventure' anymore. he finds other ways to contribute to the thing he loved the most, but nothing's the same as what he used to do! he lives vicariously through dirk, torin and co, and often gives advice where it's unwanted lol.
his job now that he's permanently banned from taking mercenary jobs is textiling, and he isn't TOO into it, but it ain't half bad, and it keeps his hands busy.

personality blips: very loud but kind regardless, an altruistic gentleman!, pretty much the textbook definition of a dad friend (never there when you need him but otherwise gives support LMAO), pretty chill despite his enthusiasm for warrior 'sport', loses track of the world when he's concentrating
