Skylar Kiera
About
Skylar can come of as rude sometimes. She speaks in a very direct manner and has a habit of fiddling with her katana. Skylar can be nice, but it takes an enormous effort on her part according to her.
Skylar is a very skilled fighter. She's also very loyal, especially to Winter. The bunnymask that she wears is one, she stole while on the run, it's a commonly sold product.
Stats
Backstory
Skylar grew up in Nightdenn. A big village, which had a thriving trading market.
Early Childhood
Skylar learned how to fight early on. She was a member of a Dojo that taught her the basics of Iaidō. She was twelve when the Soulworld company took over her village to establish a differet economy.
Everyone in the dojo that day was captured. They were tested for magic and let go to do manual labor if they tested negative. Skylar was tested positive for aera/flight magic and was put to work as a lookout and delivery girl. Skylar was often reqiured to work for long hours, with very little breaks which left her exhausted most of the time. When she was thirteen she was sent to deliver packages to Moonshore Village, where she learnt of the protest. Skylar ran into a Soulworld robot, that recognized her as a threat and tried to get rid of her.
On the run
After that encounter Skylar fled. On her way out of town she stole a common bunny mask to hide her face from the robots. She flew as far away from Nightdenn as possible and spent the next five years on the run.
Meeting Winter
Skylar never stopped running from Soulworld and eventually ended up in the city Pylite. She stole from markets and lived in backalleys. One day, after she had stolen some fruit from a vendor Skylar noticed she was being followed and did her best to loose them. On her way through the back alleys, she ran into someone else.
That someone else turned out to be Winter on the hunt for information. She saved Skylar with her celestial magic and gave her some of her money.
Joining Phoenix Claw
Another year passed before Skylar and Winter met again.
Winter found Skylar at night, while she had hidden herself away from soldiers of Pylite. Winter made her an offer to joing Phoenix Claw, which would provide her housing, food a steady income and the destruction of Soulworld.
Arson? Oh, you mean "crime brûlée".
Design Notes
- Never wears jewelry.
- Her hair is the shape of a cube. It's not optional.
- Her guildmark is white and between her shoulderblades.
Abilities
Aera Magic
The magic allows the user to grow wings on their back. They can fly for a certain amount of time before the wings dissapear.
Burning Phoenix Slash
A spell that allows her to land a fatal slash on the target.
Swordfighting Skills
Skylar is versed at fighting with a katana.
Maximum Speed
An ability of Skylars Aera Magic. It allows her to fly faster for a certain amount of time. This drains her magic alot.
Relationships

Skylar and Winter get along well enough on a day to day basis. They put alot of trust in each other, Skylar more in Winter. She likes to be close to her and prefers to keep Winter save.
