sleeping... you cannot sleep. you cannot rest. it is already 2am and your eyes are burning, open, you cannot sleep, you cannot sleep... and then you see it -
an asteri.
Plagued by nightmares for years now; Zed had a fair amount of night terrors. But this one was different. This one brought the calmness of dreamless sleep when he saw it and so... he decided to talk to it. To become friends with it.
AS THEY BLOOM

The void is everseeing, neverchanging. Embrace it, become one with it; and you may know peace.
- They are duotone. No shadows and no lights can change them. They are the void - and they are the light; there isn't one without the other.
- They speak in voices you do not know, but you understand. They speak to your mind, not your ears; some people hear them in images, and some hear the intention. Zed hears the music.
- Their touch is like a petal falling on you... and then through you. Sometimes, you can see that petal.
- They do not mean you any harm. They are just curious. Won't you indulge them, play them a song of your fears?
