Pippin, the wandering child.

Pippin is a peppy and curious young Onini.
Not very good at speaking, and can't really walk upright yet.
Despite his lack of fingers, Pippin is still pretty good at using his paw hands for things.
He spends all of his time with a Djiminni named Puzzle, who he sees as his caretaker.

Pippin met Puzzle one day when he (Puzzle) crawled into Pippin's room through his window.
From there, the two made fast friends.
Puzzle's slightly odd demeanor worried Pippin's parents, but they ultimately didn't do anything about it since companions usually can't be that dangerous.
After a promise to stay "friends forever", Puzzle convinced Pippin to run away from home and the two have been on the road ever since.
