Ichi

Ichi was the last of their siblings to hatch, long after the Pure Vessel had been chosen and the Abyss had been sealed. Still, they didn't let that stop them, and dug their way out through the walls, escaping after a long trip into the Howling Cliffs. They're a loner and refuse to get close to any other being, sapient or not. As of such, they can only speak the language of Void; a language heard only by other Void creatures.

Still, sometimes they watch Nailmaster Mato, trying to copy his movements even though their own weapon is an old abandoned corkscrew they'd found.

When they reach adolescence (the middle version) they eventually make contact with Mato, and while he eagerly takes them in as his kid, they still don't really understand his language. By the time the events of the game take place, they are a young adult (the right/tallest version).
