Liza wasn't anything special. She is a dragon, yes - a resonator species that is held in high regard. Within her own species though she wasn't anything to write home about. She knew this too. It didn't really bother her.

Though she would eventually be bought. She traded hands a couple times, not really attached to her maestros.

Then she ended up with him.

He didn't come from wealth or a prestigious upbringing and treated others as beneath him. Except for her. She could sense how genuine he was when he praised her. He cared about her and held her at the same level as him. She had never experienced such a thing from another maestro.

She looks the other way in his treatment of others. In this way, she's incredibly selfish - it doesn't matter who else is under her maestro's boot, as long as it isn't her. She'll stand off to the side and watch, only moving should someone wish to make their altercations physical.

Given the trust placed in her by her maestro, she's been able to actually develop some of her own opinions. She quite enjoys her ability to fly and will soar around the locations they find themselves in taking in the sights from her vantage point.

She also learned to give massages specifically for her current maestro and has gotten quite good at it.

Even though her maestro holds himself as such a standard that he thinks himself nobility, he still has some habits which were imparted on Liza. The biggest of which is the disdain of waste.

This dragon has a big heart and questioning her devotion to her dear maestro is an easy way to earn her ire.
