Notes
The stuff on his back is part of his clothes and totally optional.
His body modifications change a bit from times to times, so no need to worry about the ref, feel free to simplify or modify it if wanted.
The colorful part of his hair are braids - the colors varies, he often changes it too. He wears them on half of his hair and the bottom part.
His jacket and the skirt thingie are leather, I just suck at rendering lmao
Rui
"Full of energy, full of shit"
A rogue guy whose past is unknown (supposedly). Actually, everybody knows he came from the slums and modified his body to get stronger, he just likes to play mysterious. He didn't live a great life, but it wasn't as bad as he wants people to believe.
Reckless, edgy and quite egotistical, a tad on the dumber side, but he has the strength to back his bad behavior up. He loves violence, and doesn't deny or try to hide it. Has a tendency to pick fights or accept dangerous jobs only for the thrill of it. It's quite hard to work with him due to his self centered and impulsive behavior. Definitely has ego issues. He's very immature and might throw a tantrum if things don't go his way. He wants to look way cooler than he is at all times. But at the same time, he hates being alone, he just wants to be respected. He loves talking, but is often telling (usually silly) lies. He may be a nice drinking bud tho - that is, if you don't get to his bad side and he can keep his cool.

History
Born and raised in the slums by a poor single mom, who always tried her best for him but wasn't always able to, he grew more or less by himself as his mother was always working. He started to hang out with a few gangsters back in his teen years, always getting into fights and causing problems. His love for fights led him to want to become stronger - he wasn't really a strong kid. His mother died when he was about 20 years old, while he was still unemployed and living a quite hectic life. Now that he was all by himself, he moved far away, and started doing odd jobs until he met some people who did illegal modifications. He didn't think twice before spending all his money (and get a "few" debts) to modify his body and nowadays works as a mercenary, which he very much enjoys.

His body modifications go beyond what you can see - he has enhanced power and speed compared to a normal human. But due to the lack of money, his are not the best really. He’s quite stronger than a normal person, and even if he’s not, like, outrageously strong, he’s still a top fighter and stronger than most normal cyborgs. He tends to change his modifications a bit from times to times.

Trivia
- You know that blunt thingie on his arm? Notice he can't really use it as a hand... Well... He regrets it and it was actually the "doctor" misunderstanding what he wanted. He can't afford to change it now, and is too proud to admit he doesn't like it, so he's keeping it for now
- He speaks a lot softer than people would expect
- He's really really reeally bad with money. He just spends it all the moment he touches it. Most of the time he can't even answer what he spent it on.
- Rui-rui is really vain, and really loves to take care of his looks. His hair is always styled, he always spends a lot of time putting makeup on, his skin is surprisingly nice despite all the fights. Wanna make him even angrier? Target his face. He's always seen cleaning and grooming himself after his fights too.
- HOW THE HELL DOES HE EVEN APPLY MAKEUP WITH THOSE HANDS OF HIS???? THAT'S HIS ACTUAL MYSTERY

Casual romantic affair
He first met her at Tsune’s bar. They got along well since they first met, which wasn’t hard since Eavan’s crush on him stroke his go. They’re in some sort of casual romantic affair (just slightly more than “friends with benefits” way). Eavan thinks Rui is sexy af, Rui finds her pretty and funny. Surprisingly despite Eavan being the one to hit on him and have a very obvious crush on him, it is her who doesn’t want to have a more serious relationship. Rui doesn’t mind that as he also doesn’t want to “lose his freedom and independence”, so both just do their own thing, not even having dates, and only get together when they casually meet each other.
Eiraku
non friendly rivalry
All the few times they met each other, they simply hated each other, mostly due to their somewhat similar personality, and even somewhat similar body mods. Rui is surprisingly the most chill and least annoying of the two! They can barely even look at each other without fighting. Rui is still stronger than Eiraku, but he hates (and will never admit) that Eiraku is right when he says that his mods aren't really good and definitely not practical, making Eiraku's a lot better (he can even use his hands!! lol). Fortunately they are not in the same group and their meeting simply do not happen often.
Tsune

Rui is a regular at the bar Tsune is working at, and due to his egoist behavior, who keeps trying to boss her around and speak very bluntly about her role there, he gets on Tsune's nerves quite often. He's the cause of many of her breakdowns, which he just laughs off - "She can't resist my charm, I swear!". He actually doesn't do it intentionally, and to this day he still has not understood that Tsune doesn't like to be treated as a robot who obeys humans, and his ignorance about this fact is what makes Tsune mad. If he did such things only to make her mad, she would probably learn to ignore him.
