Isabelle Halloran's Links
Isabelle views Ivory as a respectable detective, and actively wants to follow in his footsteps. She's still learning though, so she's prone to making mistakes - which luckily, Ivory's able to point out every now and then.
That said, after learning that Ivory is some kind of deity? Boy, does she feel like she has some big footsteps to try and follow now...
Being a detective as well, Ivory has a loose connection with Isabelle, and sometimes reaches out to her when the cases he's involved in might align with her goals.
Isabelle can't see how anyone would attempt such a horrible thing on their own sibling. She believes that Allium doesn't understand what he'd be missing if Ollie were gone - and fully regrets that she's put Ollie into a situation like this because of Allium's selfishness.
Allium didn't view Isabelle as especially notable. He was vaguely aware that she was friends with Ollie, but didn't hold any strong feelings prior to their scuffle. He doesn't understand what she sees in Ollie, given what he knows about him.
Isabelle sees Ollie as one of her dearest friends, and would do anything for him. So, what is she to do when her desire to protect him kills his brother in the process?
After learning that Olive forgives her, she's slowly come to terms with her actions - though she still wishes that she could have done better.
Isabelle is one of Olive's dearest friends, having first met in the beta testing of DRcade sometime ago. The two enjoy making characters that play off one another in the game, and talk a bunch about various fandom outside of it.
During OFFLINE, Isabelle protects Olive from his own brother - and unfortunately kills Allium in order to keep Olive safe. Though at first Olive is unsure how to handle these events, they have come to terms with what has occurred and, feeling the events were all his own fault, doesn't blame Isabelle for the decisions she had to make.
Isabelle knows Lumi vaguely through Ivory, though she knows little outside of the fact that she's seen the two together once or twice. Because she trusts Ivory, she is inclined to trust Lumi as well - even if she's a little hypocritical for calling Isabelle out for withholding information when she's clearly done the same.
After learning that she was likely responsible for killing Tsubame, Isabelle isn't sure whether to trust her. That said, she is curious what her jellyfish form looks like...
Though Isabelle knows Ivory, Lumi at first is wary of Isabelle, especially after the events of the first debate. However, as the game rolls on, and more facts come to light? Lumi begins to reevaluate her opinion of Isabelle, and has begun to find newfound trust in her.
Though Isabelle finds Tsubame vaguely suspicious at best, recent events have made it clear the the two of them have experienced....at least one bout with the mysterious, nameless person. Her ties with Ivory, however, makes Isabelle hopeful that she can find mutual ground and cooperate. While she feels that she finds this mutual understanding, their time ends up being short - and Isabelle, though able to move on from Tsubame's passing, wishes she was able to do more for her.
Isabelle is a little strange, but Tsubame overall finds her agreeable enough. She's a little hesitant to talk to her for extended periods of time, but definitely preferred her over a good number of the people in this twisted game. As Tsubame passes, she hopes that Isabelle doesn't take Lumi's actions too harshly, and is able to continue on with a head held high.
Unsure about them at first, Isabelle has both more reasons to want to talk to them and also not, the most notable being that Solstice was once the sibling they had spent years searching for. After the events of OFFLINE, she's made the efforts to talk to Solstice on occasion, but still struggles with the knowledge that this person isn't the sibling they once knew.
While they enjoy Isabelle's general knack for solving things, something about her just doesn't vibe well, so they kept their distance from her throughout the game. Knowing now that Isabelle used to be their sibling, Solstice is at least open to start over as long as Isabelle's fully aware that she's not the person she once knew.
