Dominique, known as Nika by the few creatures who see her as a friend, is a ruthless yet elegant bounty hunter who will do anything for money... so long as it doesn't ruin her nails.

For as long as she's known, Nika's family has had a long and bloody history, dipping in and out of wealth. Her parents were both bounty hunters, but when her father suffered a brawl that left both his hind legs paralyzed, her mother was left struggling to put food on the table. Nika's grandmother, who was once an assassin, encouraged her mother to take on more "morally questionable" jobs and go after bounties posted by criminal empires. Nika's parents both refused to work for such people, and so they continued to scrape by with what little they had.

As Dominique grew into a young woman, she became bitter towards her mother's "softness" and blamed her for their poor living situation. When she was ready to live on her own, she leaned into her grandmother's advise and began taking any bounty offered to her, regardless of who was paying her, or who's lives she'd trample in the process...unwilling to ever risk falling into the pits of poverty again. Now, she bathes in the riches of luxury, even going so far as to hire her own butler/assistant, Deacon McGreer, whose become her closest companion over many years of service.

•Prefers to use the force of her paws alone or her knife as weapons (would hate to chip a claw)

•Relies on her butler, Deacon, for literally all of the housework, plus any chores she believes are beneath her

•Tries to act wise and refined despite getting overly excited about her bounties at times; this often results in her talking down to pretty much everyone, regardless of how much experience they hold over her
