Profile
Demeanor as cold as ice, Asher highly prefers to keep to himself rather than interact with any of his peers. Upon first impression, he's quite arrogant; not in the way of constantly looking down at others, but rather he believes and tends to push the idea that he doesn't need friends to survive through highschool -- and will get angered if anyone tries to show concern or imply otherwise. Many of his peers describe him as frighteningly rebellious.
He's prone to acting out in class if anything sets him off, and has gotten in trouble numerous times with the academic system. It's a wonder how he still manages to remain there... then again, he's not the violent type -- the worst he'll do is chew someone out with words if he's irritated with them. On a better day, he'll simply keep to himself and listen to music through his headphones away from other people.
At home, his parents are often too busy with their work to spend time with him or even do the bare minimum of asking how school has been. As time has progressed, this wore down Asher to the point where he inevitably began to grow more and more reclusive. Currently, it doesn't seem that anything can break him out of that shell -- as he's immensely stubborn and has trouble accepting help. The last thing he'd ever want to do is open up to someone, after all.

- Music comforts him alot. He likes to write songs in his free time, and even practice them with an old run-down bass guitar he's owned for a long time.
- His voice is relatively quiet, and it can be hard for others to understand him due to this. It's a good thing that he already doesn't enjoy speaking much to begin with.
- Owns a lot of band merchandise -- like t-shirts and things from concerts.
- His favorite bands consist of Pierce The Veil, Bring Me The Horizon, and Fall Out Boy.
- He's a visual learner, and struggles a lot with the academic system. As a result, his grades aren't the best -- and he tends to slack off during class.
- Has a concerning amount of screentime logged on Spotify.
- Whenever his headphones are on, it's always a tell-tale sign that he doesn't want people talking to him. If anyone tries to do this, they'll very likely get completely ignored.
- His eyesight isn't too great. Brown is actually his real eye color -- he has contacts in (hence the purple), as he refuses to wear glasses.
- The purple streaks in his hair are dye, but the actual black color is natural.
He’s never met much people like Amelia before, which leads him to be quite confused by her. Well, maybe not only confused -- he won’t sugarcoat it, he can’t stand her. Her loud demeanor doesn’t mix well at all with his eerily quiet one, and neither does her music taste. Sometimes, he thinks that he was cursed or plagued by some sort of invisible force -- doomed to suffer having to solve an endless mystery with, as he usually calls her, "one of the most annoying people in the world". At least it's a mutual dislike. That's the one saving grace.
He doesn't know Lily on a personal level, nor does he care to. With the way he sees it, she's just an annoyance every now and then -- but really, who isn't he annoyed with on a daily basis? He gets the slight feeling that she's a tad bit afraid of him, but it's not exactly a hunch that he plans to do anything with. He has far better things to do than focus on someone constantly busy in the spotlight as is -- ideally, he'll just continue to ignore her and roll his eyes every now and then when she says something.
He's surprised by how smart they are -- and in his perception, he's also surprised by how much of a know-it-all they can be sometimes. Valedictorian? 4.0 GPA? Terms like that make him want to gag. Maybe it's envy that he can't excel at his classes like they can without even breaking a sweat, or maybe it's simply the fact that he continuously believes that anyone who could be considered a prodigy is usually faking it. And he can't stand fake people. He's always a hair away from defensively telling them to can it.
