The Jackdaw is a female hunter on Moon's camp. She is the cousin of Moon and Fang, making her and Blade related. She pretty much does the uptight right role in the camp and is kind of self centered, but good nonetheless. She and Serenade have a short affair that results in Angelo. Jackdaw served as a sort of surrogate mother to Blade as she was an orphan, she also taught her how to hunt. Blade respected Jackdaw deeply, she was the only one in the camp that Blade somewhat took orders from.
Jackdaw and Moon perish together by the paws of Samson, who sends his troops to capture all the wolves in Moon's camp to be interrogated and later decapitated one by one. She dies with her family the same day.
Jackdaw is seen a few times as a ghost by Blade afterwards.
