Slouch

Just like the rest of his species, he has an ancient need to absorb more oxygen than is currently present in the air. Typically his species can satisfy this need through a symbiotic relationship with a family of plants that embed themselves into their skulls - however, due to living on magic-scorched land, Slouch's plant has died. He receives his extra oxygen in other ways. The death of the plant took a toll on his mental state, but he remains in Noneworld for the sake of the scientific advancements he helps contribute to.
