Elise is the only daughter of Sophia and Grace Morris. Sophia, before realzing she was a woman, worked as a police officer in Frosthold, while Grace was a stay at home mom. Despite this, Elise was never truly close with Grace and prefered spending time with Sophia. Despite this, her life was relatively normal, until a huge secret came out that rocked the entire family. While coming home late from work, Grace viciously confronted Sophia with an outrageous accusation. As it turned out, Sophia wasn't just a police officer, but a vampire and dark wizard hunter, much like her father before her. This new information in hand, Grace would leave Sophia and take Elise with her, turning her poor daughter's world upside down.
Isolation
After the divoirce, Elise was absolutely miserable. Grace would neglect her daughter, preferring instead to find Elise a "new suitable father figure." While Sophia remained in her life, Grace would put up walls to keep Sophia away. Evenutally Grace did end up remarrying to a new man, by the name of Billy Green... and Elise despised him. He was arrogant, rude, mean and greedy. He would often berate and scream at Elise while Grace would make excuse after excuse for his behavior. Billy was a gambler and put the family thousands of dollars into debt. Despite all of this, Grace held onto him. Eventually after a heated arguement with her stepfather, Elise found herself on the ground with a sore cheek and arm. She locked herself in the bathroom, called the police and Bill was arrested. Instead of feeling remourseful for her only daughter getting hurt, Grace was outraged at Elise "destroying her one true chance at happiness." With no money to care for her and no one to turn to, Grace relented and sent Elise back to live with Sophia.
Reunion
After moving back in with Sophia, Elise's life drastically imbrpoved. Her grades went up, she was able to discover more about herself, and she made all new friends. Her mother, Sophia, was now in a better place and was able to be the woman that she was always meant to be. Sophia even remarried to a woman by the name of Lou Lou Lapin. Now, Elise has a new group of friends that she likes to cause trouble with. They protect the town of Frosthold from an evil Mob family knwon as "The Clements," as well as perform in a band knwon as "The Rose Witches." Elise loves her home town, but dreams of seeing the world and what it has to offer. Hopefully with a certain Sky Pirate by her side.
