Jean Victor(ia) Galante was born to Alexander & Maria Galante, among the crew of Hex Rats sky pirates. His crew was his family, his life and all he's known for the majority of his life. Jean was particularly close with Alexander, with his father teaching him magic, sword fighting, how to maintain an airship, but above all, the true code of being a Sky Pirate. Help those in need, protect your own, and stand against tyranny no matter what.

The Fall of The Hex Rats.
Alex was obssessed with finding "The Crystal Eye" located in a sea cavern, miles away from Frosthold. However, on a voyage to find The eye, The Clement Family shot the airship down using their own, killing everyone on the ship, except for Jean. For 40 days Jean was stock on a island with seemingly no way home. Thankfully, a trade ship saw the carnage, and found Jean. He was brought back to a town called "Frosthold" and sent to an orphange where his injuries were treated and he was given a new mechanical hand.

A vow of revenge
After running away from the orphanage, Jean lived a bit of his life on the streets, looking for ways to inact his revenge on The Clement Family. As he stole, scrapped and scavanged on the streets, he found out that there was one of the crew that did survive aside from his, Bonnabell Basset. Bonnabell, or Bonbon, was actually an engineer on the crew as well as Maria's best friend. Whatever the reason, Bannabell decided to sell out The Hex Rats for a grand price. Enraged at this, Jean confronted Bonbon, only to be nearly killed by Clement family underlings. Thankfully, Jean was saved by a woman by the name of Scarlett Turner. After saving him, Scarlett took Jean in, raised him, and gave him the gift of a new brother, Brice.
