Aletta Vancouver (Dragon Age AU)

Aletta is an Orlesian Circle mage. Growing up in the Circle has left her ambitionless and resigned to her fate. She dares not to challenge the status quo-- she's fine, she guesses. Her father, an affluent man with many connections, requests her to be transferred temporarily to Ferelden for reasons. She thinks it's weird, but again, just go with the flow.

The caravan is attacked and she escapes along with one of the guards. They get into shenanigans and stuff.

Now kind of an apostate and unwilling to abandon a newfound purpose, Aletta becomes more defiant and confident. She also is open minded about blood magic.
