Marnie has a host of medical conditions that threaten to cut her life short, and is paralysed from the waist down. Despite the daily challenges she faces, she has an undying love for life. She's a hopeless romantic who dreams of having a fairy tale romance like in the books she reads. She hopes to be a writer one day and spread joy to more people through her words.
She always sees the best in people, even when there is very little good to see. In the world they live in through, this quality is often exploited. Luckily for Marnie though, she has a host of overprotective family members who would stop at nothing to keep her safe and happy...

The nightmares are capable of inflicting real damage on her while she sleeps. The only way to fight against them is to recognise you are only dreaming and wake up.

Her big brother who she loves with all her heart. Hes always looking out for her and making her smile. She only wishes he was around as much as he used to be.
Despite losing contact with Bee when she was still incredibly young, she remembered her through the stories Ollie would tell. When they reunited in later years, she felt like she had always known her.
Marnie wants to be exactly like Mitsuki! She idolises her and admires so many qualities in her. She is like her shadow, always following her around and wanting to help her out.
Satoshi is incredibly protective of Marnie. While the two don't have much in common, Marnie loves helping him in the kitchen and chatting to him about anything that pops into her head.
Marnie and Touma have tones in common and spend a lot of their time together. Marnie thinks hes so cool and is forever hyping him up when he needs it.
She doesn't spend as much time with Itsuki as the rest of his family, due to the fact he likes to be alone. She thinks hes so smart though and loves listening to him talk about his inventions and ideas.
