  Emett Duncan: His Middle Name is...jokes on you, he doesn't have a middle name.  

Best known as Dustin's best friend, this guy does pack quite a punch!

⎣ LORE ⎤

Emett is probably one of the most "normal" OCs I have! He doesn't have any mysterious skin conditions, he doesn't come from a wild-ass facility, yadda yadda yadda. He was born to normal parents, and moved on his own to Oldwater, where he lives today!

Emett is Dustin's ally and friend. Since both enjoy boxing and wrestling each other, they sometimes like hanging out by friendly wrestling each other :). Emett also is pretty muscular despite his lean appearance, and enjoys a good spar from time to time. He knows that Dustin, due to his conditions, can't fend for himself, and as such always sticks up for him. Dustin reciprocates this by cooking him breakfast, helping him lift weights, and in general being a good friend and playing video games!

Emett runs a milkshake shop together with Sophie called Duncan Berries. Given that his milkshake shack is immensely popular, it has led him to be well off and is also how he's able to pay for his roomy loft he lives in together with Dustin.

In terms of personality, Emett is described as cheerful, confident, courageous, and not willing to back down from danger. He's quite the doozy!

⎣ HISTORY (AS AN OC) ⎤

Emett was introduced to the world on August 25, 2021. He was partly based upon Stranger Things character Steve Harrington, but in general he's a pretty original guy. His character has not had any significant changes ever since his introduction.

⎣ CHARACTER DESIGN ⎤

The biggest trait of Emett's character design is perhaps, his hair. And no - that's not cell shading - his hair really is like that! It really has 3 colors, light tan, light orange, and orange. It's layered. Like a cake! My design guidelines for Emett state that no matter which art style he's drawn in, he needs to have 3 distinct layers - no more, no less, and absolutely no blending or gradients. 

Emett wears a pair of gray shorts (or pants), a red hoodie, and red sneaks. His alternate outfit involves him wearing the same grey shorts but without the hoodie, and light cream arm wraps (like the ones they wear in boxing training!)
