General Description

Gabriel is a rich and privileged vampire man with a strong interest for humans, their history, culture and creations. To strangers and acquaintances, he will appear like the perfect gentleman - incredibly polite, charming, intelligent and obliging.
In reality, however, he is quite arrogant and always thinks he's better than every living (or dead) being around him. He considers himself to be perfect, has quite the superiority complex and fragile (but extremely big) ego. He lacks self-reflection alltogether, so he has no problem justifying his terrible actions. He only cares about himself and completely disregards other's feelings or needs, should they have nothing to offer him.

On top of that, he's also quite pretentious, always making sure to show off his money, social status and knowledge, while the latter is also incredibly biased at times - but he would never let people correct him. He loves feeling like the most intelligent person in the room and he surely loves hearing himself talk.
He's very tidy, well organized and controlling. He gets upset easily if things do not go according to his will or plan.
He's also really good at pinpointing the weaknesses of other people and using them against them. He is a manipulative jerk (without even realising it) who also loves flirting and happens to ooze of charm, which just tends to make people blind to his flaws (at first).

Interests and Hobbies

- LOVES reading books, collecting knowledge, showing off, flirting with/charming people, social gatherings
- plays piano and the harpsichord (occasionally writes his own music)
- loves writing letters (and has beautiful, neat handwriting - he's really good at calligraphy)

Other notable stuff

- has at least 12 painted portraits of himself in his house (that he, himself, commissioned) and one room with a wall fully covered in antique mirrors
- his reflection is visible in mirrors, objects made of silver burn his skin
- his skin also burns in direct sunlight, but his body regenerates these wounds very fully (and very quickly) as soon as he's in the shade

Relationships to other Characters

Daniel = Gabriel happens to be the person who turned Daniel into a vampire. They used to be in a relationship - which quickly proved unhealthy. Gabriel wanted Daniel all to himself, slowly but surely severing all his bonds to his family and acquaintances. He generally manipulated him into staying at Gabriel’s place 24/7 and talked him into letting Gabriel transform him into a vampire. Alas, their relationship was doomed to fail. It ended in a big fight that led to Daniel running away on an impulse.

Basic Backstory

This is a long one. Let’s just say he has a history of being terrible, and continues to be terrible. And yes, he has, in fact, ended a couple of lives before, and he’d not be completely opposed to doing it again. Even though it may be messy and gross, sometimes it just “happens”, apparently. The inevitable, you know?

Lewis Cronos (AU): Gabriel hates him with a burning passion, but unfortunately managed to get himself addicted to his blood. They constantly shit-talk each other and try to make the other furious, which Lewis always succeeds in. Lewis always has the upper hand and revels in seeing Gabriel stoop so low, while Gabriel constantly wants to strangle the life out of this bastard. (NOT CANON, Lewis belongs to GheySnakeRedacted)

- him playing piano, reading, being at a fancy ball/event, dancing (like,, waltz?)
- red rose/thorns motifs are always very appropriate with him
- him with his ex boyfriend Daniel (Short Summary) (them during the "happy" phase of their relationship [for example Gabriel dancing with Daniel, or teaching him how to play the piano], the not so happy parts [Gabriel manipulating him in some way], or Daniel feeling haunted by memories of him, ...)
- honestly if you wanna draw gore or blood feel free to make Gabriel do horrible stuff... or him getting absolutely destroyed, you could literally draw him being killed and I would still love it (can you tell I both love and hate this asshole so much?)
