Another Galactic AU character! This is Hygiea, related to my other character Uranus in the sense that were a part of the same RP storyline that I did with a group of friends and I became attached to both of them as characters.
Hygiea is a Galactic AU from Lucas, the male protagonist of Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, specifically in his role as the professor's assistant if the player chooses to play as Dawn. He's incredibly distinct from Lucas in a variety of ways, though. (I tried to make his backstory make as much sense as possible. Sorry if some of it's incoherent it's midnight and I'm recovering from a migraine AUUGH)

Lucas couldn't help his worry when Dawn decided to take on Cyrus and Giratina in the Distortion World, and decided to follow her in. A choice which would ultimately lead to doom for him. After the two kids beat him in battle, Cyrus, in a fit of rage, grabbed Lucas by the jacket and threw him through the Distortion World, a fall that would leave scars across his body. Ultimately, by the mercy of Giratina, he'd be saved and put into an alternate timeline, and an alternate, yet familiar Sinnoh, at that. Being brought to safety would come at the cost though of "Lucas" waking up with complete amnesia. All of his memories were gone, right down to his own name. After wandering, lost, around Mt. Coronet for a while, he'd ultimately happen upon Commander Jupiter, who would rescue him and take him into Team Galactic's infirmary, where he'd blindly join the Team as well at her offering (a very knowing decision on Jupiter's part, considering this new timeline Hygiea had been taken to had its own Dawn, Barry, and Lucas). Now calling himself Hygiea, he'd take on and forge his own new identity under Team Galactic, becoming the Team's unhinged, yet childish Enforcer. He's ultimately not the best asset to the Team, but nobody will tell him that. His true use on Team Galactic is one where he'll be used as a manipulation tactic against Dawn and Barry.
Personality:
Hygiea is wild, childish, and unhinged. Although he acts like he does, he doesn't know how to take things seriously and often has to be scared into acting serious. He isn't incredibly bright and can be fooled and lied to easily. Hygiea also takes delight often in acting like some kind of middle school bully to the grunts below him and certain superiors he doesn't like. According to himself, he often really, really doesn't like other people and finds taking it out on them liberating... as little as his attempts at being a jerk might actually hurt them. He really, really wants to be mean and "scary", but can't seem to be taken seriously in that regard. He thinks calling someone a nerd is a good, even great insult. He's brash and often eager to get into fights, though can never seem to find good reason to fight and always hesitates to actually pull any punches.
Despite his chaotic and immature nature, though, deep down there is a rare part of Hygiea few people get to see, that being a lost, scared kid who doesn't know who he is and how he's gotten to the point he has. Thinking too hard about the past and who he might've been before, it's something that frightens him. It's something he wants to ignore and push away. He's confused and frightened, and his wild, crazy, mean persona was crafted as a means to shield it.
Notes:
- Hygiea has psychic powers! Because of this, he bonds particularly well with psychic type Pokemon. (this is drawn more from specific headcanons I have about Lucas rather than something wholly unique to Hygiea)
- His team consists of Spiritomb, Chimecho, Glaceon, Lumineon, and Gliscor.
- He's a scene kid. If him and my other character Izzy were from the same timeline they would sooo be besties
- He and Commander Uranus, however, are from the same timeline and on the same Team Galactic! Uranus often acts like Hygiea's tired babysitter, often working fast to get Hygiea out of mischief or potential accidents, as well as quickly breaking up growing fights between him and other members.
- Age wise, Hygiea is in his early 20s. He joined Team Galactic after the incident in the Distortion World when he was 17.
- Though Uranus actively looks after him more, Commander Jupiter is Hygiea's actual supervisor.
