Last ref for Marsh's back tattoo, his eagle neck branding, and his various lashing scars, a shrapnel scar (lower left) bullet wound (upper left back) and back profile for his neck wound.
Lore: Marsh Silas has received a total of 20 lashes in his life; 10 when he was a pre-teen for a disciplinarian action, and another 10 when he was around 25 to be punished for an act that went against a (corrupted) officer's orders. The burn on his neck is more than a burn, a chunk of the neck was actually torn open by the velocity of an incendiary explosive shell. Essentially, his head was hanging off partially. The lower left scar on his back was caused by a large shrapnel wound in his side, and the upper one was caused by a bullet that deflected off a pict-frame in his pocket over his heart, traveled along his rib, and then exited out his back.
Caption (Continued): Thought I'd throw a sensitive content warning on here in case anyone didn't like seeing stuff like this. For the time being, this is the last ref for Marsh Silas. I had planned to make an entire character card, but I don't have enough commission funds to do it and I'd rather use the last of the funds to do some fun doodles for some cool peeps. All the other refs that were meant to be on it are up here and if anybody ever needs them/is interested in them, I can whip them out in a jiff! ^_^
