"What do you think you're doing? At least Splat me then, we don't have time for this talk" --> Rose in battle.
Childhood
Rose had a nice childhood. Her parents taking care of her with a Filipino flair. Having her big brother Loupe by her side did a lot for her and she really looks up at him. He even gifted the bobble hat that she swears to wear her whole life. From when she was a tiny squid, Rose had a passion for music. She listened to all the bands she could, supporting every one of them. She sang a lot and her family always praised her for that talent. This made her inspired and so she declared that she wanted to make a band when she grows up!
Following your dreams part 1
Whenever Rose got her humanoid form, she started showing interest in turfwar battles. Her brother helped with her search for teammates and like that 'Sakura Splash' was born. It was not her initial plan to be the leader of a turf war team, but here she was as a Splat Charger main. She was ready to battle all the teams they could, even making more friends along the way. (And maybe even crushing on someone, but hating his guts, but also thinking he's cute, BUT HATING HIS GUTS right?)
The team moving from Inkopolis plaza to the square
After the events of splatoon 1, a lot of people started going to Inkopolis Square instead of the Plaza. A lot of teams we're moving out, which meant that the competition at Inkopolis Plaza was dying down. (A lot of drama happens in this time period man ;w;) Rose started to feel a bit down, but her team kept her afloat and they started to go to Jelly's café regularly to plan out future battles.
Following your dreams part 2
Rose had this impulsive idea when Finn (One of her brother's childhood friends) visited their place to eat dinner, as per usual. "FINNIE"
"Y-yes ma'am?!"
"I... Do you want to start a band with me??"
AND SO they tried to figure out how to start a band in the first place. They asked permission at the café tohold auditions and this eventually ended up in actually getting a gig there. Now Rose is the leader of the band called 'Don't Think, Ink!' or DTI for short. They jam out regularly at the café now, singing customers' song requests and even some of their originals. They swear that one day they'll get be more famous, but that's not the most important part for her. As long as everyone keeps their passion for music, she'll be happy. Let's not forget Sakura Splash though! She still battles regularly and even works a part-time job as a Salmon Runner to get some extra coin.
