They/them. Egads is a chemist who specializes in constructing explosions! This has left them heavily scarred, and knocked out five of their teeth. On the latter occasion, figuring they were already most of the way toothless and had enough cavities they were better off this way, Egads then sat on their lab floor and pulled out all of their remaining teeth with pliers, and replaced them with custom metal shark teeth.
The bomb in their earring is live. This is "in case of emergency" as they believe no one would check this, as no one in their right mind would wear a live bomb and hope to survive - Egads is simply not of their right mind, and intends to use this to their advantage :)
