Kozmotis is running, he won't admit why, he's good at running and he needs some comfort from a place that isn't quite home. That dimension is his comfort, but as he steps through the portal he's realised he's let too much time pass and he's greeted by a wasteland and destruction. He just wants to go, but he's exhausted and then something causes him to hesitate in his leaving. Hi, if you read this please leave a comment, it's my magnum opus rn lol.
