Lia is a mainly assistant type tech pearl with a clear sea theme. She's characterized by her somehow sociable nature with clumsy undertones, reason of which her skin is covered in bruises, bandages, and cracks. Despite what you may expect of her, she remains with an optimistic attitude and doesn't look forward to letting it down. Maybe you could even describe her as happy-go-lucky. She doesn't let aggressive comments get through her character, quick to counter-argument or just rightfully label that person as attention-seeking.

As for trouble, she doesn't exactly care about it. Sure, she definitely pays attention to other people, but as for herself? Most likely got in some iffy scenarios and somehow snuck her way out, be it rebel attacks or some sort of robbery for credits. She's fast to defend herself and tease about any concerns for her physical and mental health, because she'll be OK.

Post Abyssal Reef, she's found herself with much less formal looks. After all, you wouldn't encounter a pearl wearing a worn-out sweater out in the streets every day. Nor keeping messy braids, or ribbons in their hair. So, you might consider Lia as some sort of... loyalist nightmare? While she's not against Homeworld as a whole, her looks quite literally are nothing expected of the standard- and negatively. Nacres are quick to express their distate to her and often make her wear a fashionable uniform.

She is practically an unsaid, unpaid assistant staff in most reefs she comes across. Because of how flexible her personality is, Lia can be quickly assigned to guide newly-emerged pearls and teach them how to open their holo-pads. But, it must be made clear that she's not part of any facility, mostly wandering around different locations.

Lilia can sometimes be described as too overly happy-go-lucky with her cheerful attitude and constant reminder to look at the bright side of things, always giving a thumbs up to the people who need it. She's seen to always have a smile on her face, no matter how tough situations get, convincing you that "there's always hope, let's not stop until we give up" or "what really can they say?".

Clumsy behavior tops it off, reason why she has multiple cuts and bruises around her legs. You can appreciate them falling a lot, even if they're fully concentrated. Perhaps dozes off a little too much during special events, following gems' expressions and smiles. Something Royal tasks herself with a lot is making other people grin and appreciate the current moment. Whether it's by a small joke or a comedic punchline, maybe a soft tap on the shoulder, too- she'll make sure of it. Caress that sweet part of you and convince it not to drift off into self-injury or terrible comments about your appearance. However, under that disguise of pure-hearted joyfulness, a deeply insecure individual rots. Hoping to give people the attention she wishes she got back at the time, observing how they live their lives oh so happily and have no remorse for what they do. She's jealous, but not driven by so. It's something that lays there and isn't going to come out anymore soon. Comforting people's heart is a way to ease Lilia, since she can't fill in the void in hers.

Friendly

Lia is easy to socialize with mostly any group of people! Of course, she might struggle a bit with defectphobes and other sorts of loyalists... but she doesn't mind digging her old habits back up. With all the research she's conducted, it's way more easier to shift her profile. Most of the time, it works, but she comes back a little hurt.

Clever

Due to her tech/research subtypes, she's quick to twist law to justify her or another gem close to her's actions, even pulling your words against you if necessary. However, it's important to say how she will not pull these cards if not absolutely needed. It's one of the few tricks up her sleeve. Aside from that, on a more joking side, she's great at calculations and all of that. Lia can probably recite fun facts off her head, too!

Deceptive

Unlike her Abyssal self, Lia's lying might get a bit off-hand. She mostly lies about her mental and physical health (leaning on the second one) instead of her life as a whole. For example, rather than admitting she cracked because of stress, she'll fill it in that she simply slipped and it was no big deal. Yeah, right. Ignoring that, she continues with her old beliefs. With those that she is close with, she doesn't mind telling them about the actual stuff going through her head.

Calm

Lia prefers to have no enemies and stay as a forgiving person, getting mad at herself and not at other people. Hate, for her, is indeed a strong word she doesn't throw around. Unless you have done something utterly terrible to her or any of her friends, then she doesn't mind being your ally.

Polite

Because of what she's been taught throughout all of her life, Lia handles things with care and politely. You most likely won't hear any snarky remarks from her.

Sensitive

It's a mixture of plenty of problems she has. The main reason is her defect and how much it's been shoving her down for her entire existence. Sure, she chooses to make herself seem charismatic and that she doesn't mind it, but really, does she? Those words eventually get to her, but she doesn't snap verbally or anything. It's better if it's just... a secret. Maybe that'd mask help other gems that can get better, not like her.

Reckless

While she is careful with her lying and planning beforehand, she's very reckless with physical activity, getting harmed around three times a day or more. Lia continues with the story that she's not feeling unwell at all.

Diligent

Lia is diligent with other's problems, often taking up too many burdens she can't handle, be it requests or emotional support. Nevertheless, she's still cheerful and would lend you a hand because it's in her nature. Her work, while well-done, cannot acquire the same scores as the ones she had in Abyssal, one way or another. While she's happy for her letting herself go from assignments, it brings her... insecurities.

She wants to make you feel more confident and get a laugh from you! Her interactions aren't very serious but still handled with delicacy.
