Bonding is very important for a Drängleir. It's what gives them their powers, along with their ability to transform.
Some specifics of bonding:
- A bonded Drängleir can use their powers even when not transformed, but they're significantly weaker.
- The Drängleir can summon a draconette/chibi form of their dragon while not transformed using their Gem, although they still retain most of the powers.
- A Drängleir can transform into a full dragon but only for short periods and only while transformed. When the time limit runs out, they will revert to human form.
- The fairy who gave them their gem may give them extra bonuses occasionally, or may help them out if warranted.
