There's a phrase commonly spoken in Wartortle's Guild which is "Without Marisa this guild would be in shambles."
Marisa is a busy and conscientious Pokemon, taking on multiple jobs and tasks within the guild. Her primary role is being second-in-command but she also acts as the librarian and does research. Due to her psychic abilities and being able to detect threats within a certain vicinity she takes on the added role as a sentry.
