Though having been raised a normal elf's life, quiet and eager to please her parents, Urielle's life was turned upside down upon adulthood. Unaware of her father's deal with Mephistopheles, Urielle was completely oblivious to the fact that she had devil blood running through her veins - the blood of archdevil Baalphegor at that. Taken away by devil cultists, followers of Mephistopheles believed that through Urielle as a vessel, Baalphegor could be resurrected into the mortal realm - then to the Hells. Bringing back the she-devil was part of their plan to garner respect for Mephistopheles, and then to their hope the archdevil could gain strength to take over Faerûn.
One fateful night Urielle was able to escape from captivity, finding herself alone in the Underdark with no idea where to go and no memory of her past. She was assisted by a group of travelers who seemed to be burdened with something inside their body they wanted to be rid of - something she herself could relate to.
Joining their camp and finally having both refuge and people she could trust, she travelled to Baldur's Gate with them in hopes of finding a way to connect back to her past. However, an encounter with a strange man named Raphael has thrown her journey into turmoil, and Urielle finds herself running from Bhaal cultists as well as her own thoughts of herself.
