Profile
Nareau was born in Menzoberranzan, an urchin of the fallen drow house of Srune'Lett - occuring only years prior to his birth. Having to essentially grow up on the streets of the city, he managed to build up a local reputation due to his rather tall stature as a drow male. With many allies - and female drow fighting over him - he was able to sustain himself and what remained of his family, defending them through self-taught training as a monk.
He wasn't able to stand the city for long, however, as infighting between intact drow houses spilled onto common business. A noble of House Baenrae had him kidnapped to be taken in as one of their servants, and he begrudgingly worked as one of their slaves for a number of decades. From housework to bedroom work, he was forced into all kinds of labor up until a time two worshippers of the Absolute came to Menzoberranzan. With Minthara Baenre leading an assault on Moonrise Towers in response, Nareau used the commotion to sneak away and make it to the surface.
Upon reaching the surface, Nareau head towards Baldur's Gate after hearing of the Guild spread throughout the city's sewers. However, traveling alone, he was captured by a mind flayer and taken onto a nautiloid. As the ship crashed near the River Chionthar, Nareau found himself in a foreign area with a mind flayer tadpole stuck in his head. Keen to find a cure and prevent his impending ceremorphosis, he eventually found the Emerald Grove nearby, and went to learn more from the alleged goblin they captured. It was there he met the tiefling Crelia and her allies, and he joined their group as yet another tadpole-infected individual.
