You gotta believe in something, 8, gotta believe in stupid 8
Twig was afraid to step out of line. Kind of timid, she gets out of her shell after going through the testing facility. She's very stubborn and will refuse to give up after failing multiple times. She can be quite bubbly and friendly.
- Pretty dresses She never got to wear anything other than her uniform, and after getting to the surface, she indulged herself by getting all the pretty dresses she could.

Twig has little to no memory of her life before her time in the Deepsea Metro. If you were to tell they made Twig to be an experiment to be manipulated and tested, she would believe you. Still, she has some deep obsession with sniping that had to come from somewhere and is a master at long-range weapons.
However, pre-metro she earned a reputation as a top snipper and was on a team with another pro sniper, a female Octoling named Orion. While they were never officially a thing, there was a deep affection on Twig’s end. Orion was her first, her everything. She even gave Twig her nickname and Mem cake, which she always kept on her.
When the higher ups dispatched Orion the Underground, Twig became devastated. She gave Orion her own Mem cake to keep close. Twig spiraled more when she heard the news that Orion failed and became lost to the tunnels. Her depression which turned into hard determination to find her companion.
Her mind became whipped, both because of entering the Underground and a freak accident involving rubble. But she still remembered Orion enough to know why she was there. She met Captain Cuttlefish upon waking up for the first time, and despite not liking his vibes at first, went along with him and accepted the title Agent 8.
Twig met Stinger in D-10, where the sanitized Octoling snuck up on her. The only thing keeping the other Octoling from finishing him outright as she would’ve with the other sanitized Octolings was because he had a similar facial shape and mannerisms to Orion. After knocking him down and loosening his glasses, seeing him adjust them around his neck like Orion did, solidified it for her.
She tried to get him to remember being Orion.
Despite her passionate attempts, even bringing out Orion’s Meme cake and taking hers back from Stinger (Which was another point in her favour of the two being the same), and having them kiss and acting out one of their last conversations; Stinger still wouldn’t accept that name anymore, going so far as to refer to Orion as a separate person.
Stinger pleaded with Twig to leave Orion in the past and move on to accept him as he was then. Maybe not the same, but also not completely different. His favourite weapon was still the same. He still talked and acted the same, and he still loved her like he was his everything.
He even told her he remembered her nickname and the meaning behind it. He begged her to give him a nickname in return because he figured it would be something special between them and help Twig move on. She chose Stinger, since the Stingray was his favourite special, and he was her special person.
After completing the Thang, finding out Tartar’s proper plan, and escaping in part thanks to Agent 3; Twig managed to convince Stinger to escape the Underground with her.
- Doesn't talk, but can sing. She also has a voice, but she's so used to not being heard that she just sticks to sign language when she absolutely needs to communicate.
- Twig wears plan outfits since she's having a hard time thinking of herself as an individual.
- Has faint Stockholm syndrome for the underground, you can catch her wistfully staring at the abandoned subway when she's downtown. It's not that she wants to go back, it's just that she's not used to not being a hero, important even, or that she can't tell anyone besides Patrick and Stinger.
- Cute mute She doesn't talk most of the time, resorting to sign language since it's easier for multiple people to understand.
- Amnesiac Hero Has no idea who she is, or what her past is pre-Deepsea metro. But Stinger thinks it's better that way since she can become her own person through the experience.

While she almost killed him in the underground, and still conflicts him with Orion, she slowly moved past that; and loves him the way he is.
The first love of her life, went as far to go down to the Underground to find her.

They both saved each other while deep underground. He's one of the two confidants she has from the underground.
Twig met Agent three during one of the many scraps the Agent went through versus the Octarians for the Zapfish. Despite this, and because of the memory whipping of the Underground, she doesn’t remember him and considers him a friend after getting to the surface.
