Description:

A dark blue Night’Wing with fades to black on their feet, hands and tail. Their wings have stars that are concentrated near the edges of the wings and are nearly barren near the middle. They have a small horn ring given to them by their partner

While working, they carry a leather pouch of medicinal herbs and have a bottle around their neck that carry’s their doctors certificate. They also have a leather doctors mask that hangs on their neck when not in use

Childhood:

Was born on the island. They were born to their mother, but does not know who their father is or if they have any siblings. Life on the island for everyone was tough and traumatic, and this was no different for Star.

When they were 4 years old, the volcano erupted and they had escape to the Rain’Forest. Unfortunately, they lost their mother in the eruption, and so was alone in the Rain’Forest.

Queen Glory quickly transferred all orphans into a sort of foster system where the Rain’Wings supply them with the necessities, but it’s up to the Night’Wings to actually take them in and take care of them.

This proved to be a bad plan, as the other Night’Wings were focused on making a new life for themselves, and so often ignored and neglected the orphan Night’Wings.

This led to Star and some of the other orphans to runaway when they were 6. They escaped to Sanctuary and found an abandoned mud’brick building where they now live

Backstory:

By the time Star was 7, they had started learning about herbs. Every day Star went to a medic shelter, where they helped them take care of the sick and injured in Sanctuary. This shelter is not the same one that Lorikeet works at, and is on the other side of the town. After they helped there, they went back to their home and they and the other orphans put all their pay for the day in a pile. This is the way they survived in sanctuary and the way they can all be assured they will never be forgotten again. They all live on the outskirts of the town, mostly where other outcasts or unwelcomed dragons stay. Most of those who live here are Night'Wings, so many of Stars patients were Night'Wings.

By the time they were 10, they were a qualified medic and worked under multiple medics. Their pay was enough to feed both them and the other orphans, who at this point also had well paying jobs. They were renowned in their side of sanctuary as ‘The Moon’Light Home’, with each dragon having a role. Whether this be a smith, chef, medic, florist or merchant, they all had jobs and were a keystone in thier side of Sanctuary.
